French clay (kaolin) from the Auvergne region
The Auvergne region, a verdant area surrounded by nature and chosen as a source of drinking water, is a dormant volcanic zone with a special volcanic layer. Over the years, it has eroded to form green clay, especially rich in feldspar (aluminosilicate minerals of potassium, sodium, calcium and barium). Rich mineral deposits in the Tertiary (65 million years ago ~2.6 million years ago).
Kaolin helps to remove dead skin cells and dirt to cleanse and condition.

Contains no quartz (silicon dioxide) which can cause irritation and is hypoallergenic. The unique composition ratio makes it light and gentle to the touch.
Okinawa Mudstone Kucha (Sea Silt)
The clay is made up of 60% fine particles of less than 5 microns in size, rich in minerals and other marine components that have been deposited on the sea floor of Okinawa for hundreds of years. It is able to penetrate into the details of the skin's surface and pores, absorbing and removing dirt. As well as increasing the cleansing power of the skin, the viscosity also has a tightening effect due to the lifting sensation as it dries.

Rich in minerals
Clay is rich in minerals, having been created over a long period of time through a variety of natural influences. The type of mineral content influences the properties of the clay. In most cases, it contains around half a percentage of silica. Other minerals such as aluminium, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium and zinc are also present in an oxidised form.

Clay has many functions, but its most important characteristic is that it eliminates toxins. It is related to the basic structure of clay. Clay has a molecular structure that resembles many layers of paper. Therefore, in terms of surface area, even a small amount of clay has a very large surface area. (One gram of clay has a molecular surface area of a whopping 800m2). On top of that, its paper-like surface has negative electrons, which means that the whole of its very large surface area has negative electrons. In other words, the entire very large surface area is negatively charged with electricity. Wastes and toxins, on the other hand, have positive electrons. Therefore, when you use the clay, it binds them together and removes sebum and sweat stains.
